Build a garden with Daddy and me…help us build an above ground garden at our family center. AVANCE fathers will assist with their children to build a garden and see it grow! With your gardening expertise and green thumb…it will be a dream come true for our families.

 Need 6 volunteers -Soil and mulch -Planters -Vegetable seeds -Lumber -Green or Brown edging (minimum 6) -plant feed -little hand shovels -Gardening gloves -Irrigation hose -Present educational opportunity for learning

Do you have 4 hours to volunteer?  if yes, then come and help us during our AVANCE-San Antonio annual El Dia De la Familia/Family Day at Rosedale Park, Saturday, April 6th from 9 am to 1 pm.  This event is free to AVANCE parents and their children.  It's a day filled with age appropriate early literacy activities.  Over 60 hands on activities will be provided.  Community resources, entertainment and learning will be provided.  Need 40 volunteers to help with the following: setting up tables & chairs*provide activities and materials to families*serve lunch and drinks*assist families off buses*welcome and gu
